The Energy Healing Institute brings together the Western medical and alternative healing communities through an understanding of human care as it relates to energy work. In order to accomplish this task, the EHI is guided by the expertise of individuals from multiple fields of medicine and many healing modalities.

Faculty
Jill Leigh, Founder and Director

Raised as a child of Christian Science, Jill Leigh has always believed that what manifests in the human body has many answers beyond the physical. Through her studies in quantum physics, collaborative relationships with the Western medical community, relationships with indigenous elders and teachers of native American spirituality, and training as a clairvoyant energy healer she has developed and teaches a progressive model of healing - one that fuses scientific practicality with spiritual understanding.

Jill Leigh developed her clairvoyant skills and began her training in energy healing in 1992, studying with author and healer John Friedlander. During the 12 years that Jill studied with Friedlander, she mastered the understanding that everything that manifests physically in the body originates within the individual’s electromagnetic field. This understanding was the basis of her work clearing and manipulating energy within electromagnetic fields in order to heal. She also learned to harness and manage her lifelong clairvoyant talents. Jill’s knowledge grew and she began teaching and building a private practice helping others to heal.

In 2002, Jill walked away from her call center consulting business, which she built over a decade, to regroup and reassess her purpose. Still unsure that her avocation, energy healing, could become her profession, it took Jill a couple of years to pursue her private practice full time.

It was out of her work within her private practice that Jill founded the Energy Healing Institute. Seeing an overwhelming response from healers utilizing her work to recover from the fatigue of rehabilitating others, Jill built the beginnings of the Energy Healing Institute with a single curriculum. This curriculum has since evolved and now focuses upon the Western medical and alternative healing communities; laying a foundation of energy work which enables healers of all backgrounds to care for themselves while increasing the efficacy of their work.

It is Jill’s intention that the Energy Healing Institute, by combining the education of quantum principles with metaphysical theories, will create a collaboration between Western medicine and alternative healing models. This relationship will ultimately intensify the power of all healers and evolve the landscape of human care.

It is the intention of EHI to offer a teacher's level certification to students who certify through the curriculum offerings, expanding outreach and creating an additional career path for talented healers.
