The certification program is completed over the course of 12 months. We will meet in Boston quarterly, for four days each quarter, a total of 16 days of classroom instruction. Between our quarterly classroom days,
teleconferences will be available for skill application, question & answer, coaching and feedback. Homework assignments incorporating reading and study, as well as practicum-related activity will also be required to be
completed between classroom sessions, and are fundamental to achieving certification. Homework assignments will also serve as a resource for coaching and feedback with one of the instructors from the Institute.
What are the dates for the Teleconferences?
Teleconferences will be a combination of optional and required (content dependent), and will be run on multiple dates and times to allow for work schedules and other life implications. Teleconference dates and times will be scheduled during the classroom training sessions; participants will be able to voice their preferences at that time.
How many participants will there be in the class?
Each class is restricted to 12 participants to offer individual attention and build community within the group.
Want to apply for admission to The Energy Healing Institute?
Here's what's involved:
* Download the pdf application and fax or email it to us for review. We require a $100 non-refundable
deposit. The deposit will be applied to your tuition should you enroll in The Energy Healing Institute.
* We'll contact you once we've reviewed the application to schedule an admissions interview. The
interview may be conducted face-to-face or via telephone, depending on your location, and will include
one or two instructors in the school. Additional interviews will be conducted by telephone, if required.
* Should we all agree that the school is a good fit for your interests and our curriculum objectives, you'll
receive a commitment letter from the school, inviting your participation and outlining our expectations.
Expectations include: attendance, completion of readings and assignments, practicum work, etc. The
parameters for achieving certification are also outlined.
* To reserve space in the program, the commitment letter will need to be signed and returned with
payment of 50% of the tuition, less your $100 application deposit.
* When The Energy Healing Institute receives the commitment letter and the tuition payment, a new
student packet will be mailed to you with course outlines, school logistics, pre-work (reading), and an
invitation to meet with one of our instructors (face-to-face or by phone) to learn several preliminary
skills that you'll practice and apply prior to the start of the school year.
* The balance of the tuition (50%) is due 10 days prior to the first day of the program.
What is the cost of tuition and what does it include? $6500.00
The tuition includes:
* 16 classroom days
* participation in optional and mandatory monthly teleconferences
* coaching and feedback during teleconferences
* substantive feedback on homework assignments
* quarterly one-on-one with instructor(s)
What other expenses can I expect to pay?
Additional expenses include:
* Books and resources required for the training. Books and resources may be purchased as the year
progresses, in accordance with the curriculum plan. All books will be available through local big box book
stores and Amazon or Barnes & Noble's websites. Remember that used books are available at many online
sites and offer a good value.
* The cost of the phone call to attend mandatory and/or optional teleconferences.
* Transportation, lodging & food expenses incurred in association with the school and its programs.
* Any optional counseling or healing sessions that you may wish to experience with the instructors of The
Energy Healing Institute. Sessions are available at the instructor's discretion, and their normal consulting
fees would apply.
What payment options are available for the school?
Tuition may be paid via check or money order, or with MasterCard or VISA.
Tuition may be paid in either one or two installments.
50% of the tuition is due with your signed enrollment agreement to reserve your space in the class. You may elect to pay the full tuition when you sign your enrollment agreement.
The remainder of the tuition is due 10 days prior to the beginning of the first day of classroom instruction.
Are there scholarships available?
Not currently, although the idea is under investigation, and is a desirable goal of the Institute.
